Toni Braxton wows in sheer white gown as she’s honored at BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards
Toni Braxton was a true headliner at the BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta on Thursday night.
The singer and songwriter showed up at the event in a stunning sheer white frock that fell to the floor.
The 48-year-old’s dress was sleeveless and featured a high collar with embroidered detailing and a nude underslip preserving her modesty.

Braxton wore her cropped hair gelled up for a spiky look and had a black nail polish manicure.
The Unbreak My Heart hitmaker was the honoree of the evening as the recipient of BMI’s President Award.
‘As one of the top-selling R&B artists of all time, combined with her philanthropic efforts, I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition,’ BMI Vice President of Writer/Publisher Relations Catherine Brewton said in announcing her selection.
The three-time Grammy winner was honored by L.A. Reid who helped produce along with Babyface her 1993 self-titled debut album.
The show was hosted by comedian and actor Chris Tucker and recognized the songwriters, producers and publishers of the year’s top R&B and Hip-Hop tracks.
It’s the first time they event has been held in Atlanta since it was established 15 years ago.
Braxton performed during the show as did DJ Khaled & Friends.
Also on hand were Cee Lo Green and Ludacris, a previous recipient of the President’s Award.
Braxton was also joined by family members including her parents Michael and Evelyn and her sisters who star with her on WE tv’s reality show Braxton Family Values.
