Things to Do in Atlanta This Weekend: June 2024

The Houston rapper has had a great year so far. She released the chart-topping “Hiss,” she appeared in Mean Girls, performed on Saturday Night Live, and so much more. Now, she’s embarking on her first headlining trek around the world on the aptly titled Hot Girl Summer Tour. She’ll be bringing along her “Wanna Be” collaborator GloRilla for the ride, so if you’re a fan of this Southern superstar, you want to be in attendance for her show this month.

The upcoming Midnight Market is a late night festival for foodies 21 and up. Attendees can expect a lineup of more than 20 food trucks and vendors, 30+ local artists, and an expansive roller rink that includes free rentals. There will be multiple bars on site, live DJs spinning through the evening, and food vendors serving small plates that cost no more than $8.

The Arts Atlanta will again host its monthly First Friday, an evening filled with fine arts, live music, poetry, film, food, and performances. In celebration of the city’s 404 Weekend, the Westside Cultural Arts Center will hold the June edition of Deeper ATL. Hosted by Rashan Ali, this event features music from some amazing DJs. Known for its signature energy, good people and legendary moments, the party will surely be one of the best events to attend this weekend.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, $94 and up
The Hackney Diamonds Tour is a concert tour by English rock band The Rolling Stones, in support of their 2023 studio album Hackney Diamonds, their first studio album of original material in almost 20 years. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood will light up Mercedes-Benz Stadium for one night only, performing tracks such as “Start Me Up,” “Get Off My Cloud,” “Rocks Off,” and so much more. The spirit of rock ‘n roll will definitely be in the building, so make sure you are too.
