Authored by Purpose: How Dr. Sheena Collier is Writing Her Legacy in Service and Strength

In a world where titles are earned and impact is measured not by applause but by transformation, Dr. Sheena J. Collier stands as a powerful testament to what it means to lead with purpose, write your truth, and serve without limits. A distinguished logistics expert, seasoned entrepreneur, and now, a rising voice in authorship, Dr. Collier is more than a trailblazer—she is a blueprint for resilience in Atlanta’s African-American community.
From her early days as a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Stillman College to becoming a senior logistics manager for the Department of Defense, Dr. Collier’s journey has always been about precision, excellence, and service. But beneath the technical achievements—managing multi-million-dollar Army programs, transforming logistics operations, and influencing national policies—lies a deeper narrative: one of a woman committed to amplifying voices, especially those often unheard.
“In everything I do,” Dr. Collier says, “I strive to ensure that systems work for people—not against them.” Her approach to leadership is shaped by her belief in visibility, especially for women and people of color navigating spaces where their presence has been historically minimized. “We can’t afford to be silent,” she adds. “Because as The Atlanta Voice reminds us, a people without a voice cannot be heard.”

Dr. Collier’s voice is now echoing louder than ever—not just in boardrooms, but through the written word. As an emerging author, she is chronicling her personal story, professional expertise, and lessons learned to uplift aspiring leaders, particularly Black women navigating dual careers, cultural pressures, and systemic challenges. Her forthcoming work will blend memoir, mentorship, and motivation—an offering to the next generation.
Among her proudest achievements is the founding of Provision Realty, LLC and Provision Real Estate Academy, where she trains and coaches future real estate professionals. With an unmatched instructor score from the Alabama Real Estate Commission, her influence reaches far beyond contracts and closings. She is planting seeds of ownership—both economic and intellectual—in her students and community.
Dr. Collier’s life is marked by milestones: the 2025 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, the Sirens of Service Award, and magazine covers celebrating her as a CEO, REALTOR®, and educator. But she is most fulfilled when mentoring others. “My mentors poured into me selflessly. Now I get to do the same.”
As a Black woman in logistics and real estate—fields where Black excellence is often overlooked—Dr. Collier has faced barriers rooted in bias. “I’ve had to prove myself more than once,” she admits. “But I don’t just push through challenges—I document them. Because my story, like so many others, deserves to be told.”
To young leaders, her advice is direct and empowering: “Your authenticity is your authority. Don’t shrink to fit rooms that weren’t built with you in mind. Build your own. And invite others in.”
Dr. Collier’s long-term vision is to expand her academy, publish her books, and develop leadership programs that marry logistics, life strategy, and legacy building for Black professionals. Her work is already shaping the future of Atlanta—one mentee, one manuscript, and one mission at a time.
As she balances federal leadership, community service, and authorship, Dr. Collier finds grounding in faith, family, and Delta Sigma Theta sisterhood. “Balance is about boundaries,” she says. “You can’t pour from an empty cup—but when you’re full, you overflow into others.”
Her message to readers of ATL Black Voices Magazine is both a call and a confirmation: “You are the author of your story. Don’t wait for permission to write it. Share your voice. Someone is waiting to be healed by your truth.”
