Atlanta United unveils culturally inspired ‘404 Kit’ honoring city’s influential history

“The 1990’s in Atlanta was a magical time,” said Tory Edwards, Managing Partner at AIE. “The stars aligned, allowing the seeds planted long before us to blossom to new and endless possibilities. We are grateful and proud to partner with Atlanta United to tell this amazing story.”
American Family Insurance is the centerpiece sponsor for the club’s First Team kits. Piedmont Healthcare, the club’s Official Adult Healthcare Partner, continues as a sleeve sponsor.
“American Family Insurance is proud to partner with Atlanta United, and as their primary kit sponsor, we love how the new 404 Kit pays homage to the vibrancy and culture of Atlanta in the 90s,” said Elicia Azali, American Family Insurance Group chief marketing officer. “And as a supporter of the Atlanta community, we’re excited to honor the legacy of historically black colleges and universities, and how they continue to inspire all students to pursue their dreams.”
In addition to the club’s team store at Atlantic Station, the kit will be available to purchase in-person at Mercedes-Benz Stadium beginning Saturday, Aug. 26 when the team debuts the kit in its match against Nashville SC (7:30, MLS Season Pass, 92.9 The Game, La Mejor). All Atlanta United matches are available with an MLS Season Pass subscription, located on the Apple TV app.
