Financial website ranks Port St. Lucie one of worst places to ‘stay’
A personal-finance website ranked one Treasure Coast city in the bottom third on a list of the best and worst cities for staycations.
Port St. Lucie, the largest city on the Treasure Coast, was ranked 143 out of 150 cities by WalletHub, a website that offers free credit scores and full credit reports and once called itself a “personal-finance social network.”
Orlando came in at No. 1, making it the best city for a staycation, according to WalletHub.

To come up with the results, WalletHub compared the 150 largest cities based on 36 key indicators of a fun-filled, yet wallet-friendly, staycation. To determine the best staycation spots, WalletHub’s analysts compared the cities across three key dimensions: recreation, food and entertainment and rest and relaxation.
